The Delusional Magician

The Delusional Magician

As I catwalk throughout my experience to the beat of my own 8 count, I have truly grown to appreciate my mental capabilities of visualization and imagination. You know the feeling you get when you listen to Future's March Madness with headphones? The burst of intensity as the beat transitions? Whatever the feeling, the song evokes intense emotion. Similar to the feeling I get when I think about, or meditate on what I want my next steps to be. I get into the feeling of it. I picture it, I smell it, taste it, hear it, feel it... see it. For Individuals with a herd mentality (which makes up < 60% of our population), this may sound and look unrealistic because if it's not "by the book", it's incomprehensible. We can also attribute this close-mindedness to heavy conditioning from our parents, families, classmates, work colleagues and involvement with the people in the world outside of ourselves.

Manifestors, or magicians, do not deal with the "real waking world"... we are very much delusional. The meaning of delusion according to the Oxford dictionary is a false belief or judgment about external reality, despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary. And in order to magically produce something that is not currently tangible in our reality, we must first believe wholeheartedly, that it's already here. Just like when you lied about something when you were little, and you told the lie so much you actually started to believe the lie you were repeating. You had to believe your lie, in order to avoid the consequences. This mental process is not easy. It literally takes work, change of language, and discipline to reprogram your mind to fully be convinced to see something that hasn't yet fully presented itself. I am actively reprograming my mind and transmuting limiting thoughts and beliefs that have been taught to me since birth. And with my Saturn in the 6th house, I'm prone to overthink, worry, and become irritable about situations that are out of my control. But polarizing these restricting thoughts and beliefs brings my inner and outer worlds into harmony with my conscious effort in the movement towards wholeness. Using affirming and uplifting words, or spelling, to define my life and my experiences propels me lightyears ahead of the game. And what you speak, because your words hold power, will reveal itself to you. Thoughts, beliefs, feelings, and words are literally your personal propellers.
